Old Pier Apartments

Colleen is lovely. She let us know when the room was ready and shared a helpful list of local places to eat and things to do. The apartment was warm when we arrived, with toasty heat pump heating, and had everything for cooking and cleaning, including a coffee pod machine, plunger and teapot. No need to improvise with the crockery or utensils. There’s also a washing machine if you want to do laundry while away 😉. The sleeping setup is a King Bed and 2 x singles. The King bed was so comfortable I didn’t want to get up, and the bed linen and electric blankets were lovely. The towels were soft and very absorbent, which helps in winter when you want to dry off quickly. I also appreciated the extra hooks and towel rails, since lots of places only have one of each. Dog bowls are outside in the courtyard if you bring your pooch, just let them know before arriving. I’ll definitely stay again and highly recommend.

We spent a week here working remotely and playing a few rounds of golf at Barnbougle. The apartment was clean, bright and roomy, and having laundry in the unit made things really convenient before we headed to Cradle Mountain. Would definitely stay again!

Very clean, with plenty of room to move around and a really comfortable sofa set. The area was so quiet that I never heard cars doing burnouts or anything like that, unlike where I live. Colleen, the manager, is a very nice person with great people skills. She’s someone I could easily be friends with. I’d recommend this place.

We stayed one night at the apartment, and it was very clean and suited our needs. Being pet friendly was a major reason we chose it. Colleen, the owner, was a delight to deal with and made us feel at home. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the apartments, and next time we’re in Bridport we’ll definitely stay at the old pier apartments again. Five stars 🌟
