Aalborg Bright

From the big picture windows, the view is lovely, and the whole place feels modern and nicely designed for a couple. We liked the small kitchen, bathroom, and outdoor sitting area, and there’s a TV and sound bar for music. It’s about a 10-minute walk to town. The host next door was very helpful. We loved staying here and highly recommend it.

We spent ages looking out at the winter garden and mountains through the huge lounge and bedroom windows. The view is entrancing, and the bath is big enough for two. It’s a cosy place, with a split system, double-glazed windows, and extra blankets. Robes, candles, hot water bottles, full-sized bathroom amenities, and chocolates on arrival were among the thoughtful touches. The place was immaculately presented and felt like a perfect romantic escape. Bright’s centre is a quick 20-minute walk away. We’d happily visit again.

The minimalist style made the place feel calm and refreshing, and the linens, bathrobes, and heated towel rack gave it a luxurious feel. The view from the living room, bedroom, and bath is stunning. It’s phenomenal for a couple. I only wish our two-night weekend had been longer.

We booked five nights this time, after finding that three nights at Gil and Lars’ place wasn’t enough on our last visit. The mountain view is thrilling. Each morning it’s right there when we sit up in bed, and at night we can listen to the rain and have a bath surrounded by nature and mountains. The house gets lovely and warm by itself during the day because it faces the sun. We love staying here and can’t wait to come back.
