Lythgo's Row Colonial Cottages

Lythgo's Row became our home between homes while we were relocating to Tasmania, and I can’t imagine a more welcoming place to have stayed. We’ll recommend it to friends, family, and anyone looking for accommodation around Hobart, New Norfolk or Pontville. The cottages are beautiful, cosy and elegant, with quality treats and a kitchen stocked with everything we needed and then some. Lawrence and Susan are kind-hearted, warm and wonderfully accommodating hosts. The next whisky is on us, Lawrence and Susan. Sam and Warwick, and all the fur babies, xx

The location made it easy to get to Hobart, and Richmond and the wineries were conveniently close by. My first Tasmania trip was made even better by a stay in this immaculate, spacious and comfortable accommodation. The hosts had left a basket with bread, breakfast condiments and other goodies to get the day started. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

I was meant to stay two nights, then added two more. After a short trip to Launceston, I came back to spend the rest of my trip here. The place has a cosy, welcoming feel and was a great spot to unwind after exploring. Lawrence and Susan were always happy to help and made me feel very welcome. This accommodation is a real gem, highly recommended.

We stayed at Lythgo cottages the night before our wedding and again on the wedding night. A week beforehand, Lawrence offered to drive us to the wedding in his rolls royce, decorated with wedding ribbons. When we got back that evening, he’d left us a card and a gift too. We arrived to a lovely basket of treats and beautifully decorated rooms, and the whole stay was wonderful. We’ve already decided to return for our first anniversary. Thank you, Lawrence and Susan.
