Chester And Ella Apartments

We were a family of four at Chester & Ella while our new home settled, from May 24 to Jan 25, and the stay was overwhelmingly positive. The current building management team was responsive, professional and clearly working to improve operations and resident support. They kept standards up around the property. The location was hard to beat. James Street, Teneriffe Park and Gasworks Plaza were all within walking distance, with restaurants, supermarkets and public transport close by. Newstead was very convenient, whether for a short stay or a long-term investment. There’s a lot to enjoy in the building too: two rooftop pools with city views, well-equipped gyms, several BBQ and dining areas, private function spaces and outdoor cinemas. The facilities were meticulously maintained and added real value to day-to-day life. Before moving in, we’d seen some mixed or outdated reviews, especially about management, but our experience was different. We’re grateful the current mgt team made the place feel like home during our transition. We’d confidently recommend Chester & Ella to future residents or investors.

With a movie room, games area, pool and rooftop cinema, the facilities are fantastic. The location is amazing too. I can’t think of a better place to live in Newstead or Brisbane.

We bought an investment apartment off the plan before construction was finished, and have visited several times for inspections since. The apartment and the whole property have consistently been in excellent condition. Chest & Ella has outstanding facilities, from the stylish foyer to the rooftop pool and beyond. We’ve even thought about living there ourselves. The building management and leasing team have also given us spot-on advice and communication about our unit, which gives us peace of mind that the investment is in good hands. We highly recommend Chest & Ella.

The setting really adds to the experience at Marco Rossi Pizza, whether you’re taking in a sunset or just sitting in the open air. They have a great range of Italian wines to go with the food, and the prices are surprisingly reasonable for the quality, especially beside places with half the charm. The pizza was bursting with flavour, with crisp bases and fun experimental toppings that worked. You can even make up your own recipe, which made it feel personal and creative. A hidden gem for pizza lovers or anyone after something different and delicious. I’ll definitely be back.
