The room was clean, organised, and had useful things for a short stay. There’s also a communal kitchen, laundry, and a small library and reading area. The pool and outdoor areas were lovely, and I liked the filtered water station with sparkling water on tap. There’s a vending machine with treats and some good quality snacks, plus Netflix, YouTube, and Prime Video on the TV. It’s easy to find just off the main street, with convenient access to the city, Southbank, and the Gold Coast. Parking was secure and easy, with plenty of spaces onsite; on busy nights you can also secure a spot for a small fee. There are pubs, cafes, restaurants, and a small independent grocery across the road, as well as a nearby public transport hub. A lovely park with sports facilities and room to run around and play is right across the road. The staff answered my many questions politely and kindly. I’d recommend it.

The rooms were very clean, the facilities were great, and the location was super. Staff were amazing and even swapped us to a ground floor room so my mum could manage with her crutches. An absolutely awesome stay, and the parking was a big bonus!

We got to Brisbane earlier than planned and needed to check in early. The staff were accommodating and sorted it quickly. The rooms were comfortable, everyone was helpful, and there’s lots to do nearby. We had an amazing stay and will most definitely return.

After two stays in the last two months, this is now my go to place whenever I’m in Brisbane. The rooms are fabulous, clean, well stocked, and near everything I need. Staff are super friendly and helpful. I arrived very early, and they stored my suitcase while I went about my business. When I got back early, they were able to check me in. The Pineapple hotel is about a two minute walk up the road and has great food. MacDonald is further along, but why go there when the Pineapple has such good food? A ten minute taxi ride gets you to the CBD, Suncorp Stadium, or the Gabba. I don’t usually promote a place, but I will for the City Star Lodge. Come, stay, enjoy.

The Christmas decorations at the front were a cute touch, and they let us check in early because of Christmas. Thanks so much. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Our camper was too big for the free parking, but there’s plenty of street parking right outside. The place was in a great location, and everything was clean and well maintained. The renovated room was spacious and lovely, with extra seating outside, and the bed was very comfortable. There was filtered drinking water, reliable Wi-Fi, and a large, clean, well equipped kitchen. The pool was clean and well kept, with lights and palm trees making a really nice atmosphere. We’d definitely stay again and highly recommend it.
