Fortitude Valley Apartments by CLLIX

The welcome goodie bag was a nice extra that you don’t get at other hotels, and the customer service was great. Check-in was easy too. One issue: Room 902 needs its water pressure fixed. It was very low, and a lot worse than when we first stayed in that same apartment.

The location worked well for us: about 200 meters from The Fortitude Valley Train station, near the Valley mall nightlife and close to the RNA showgrounds for events. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the service was great. I stayed two nights in a two-bedroom apartment. It was clean when I checked in and had what you need for self-service, including a washing machine, dryer and bathroom amenities. The shower heads were great, especially the rain shower before bed. In the hot months, the pool was amazing, with lovely views, poolside furniture and lights that change colours at night. My one change would be adding air conditioning in the second room instead of a ceiling fan, particularly for Australian spring and summer. Getting to reception from Albert Street can be tricky the first time; I think arriving via St Pauls Tce may make check-in easier. A few small changes could make this one of the best places to stay in the Valley.

Vishal really looked after us, checking in regularly to see if we needed anything and responding helpfully. It’s rare to meet someone who genuinely cares about their guests, and we appreciated his attention. The accommodation was clean, comfortable and well maintained, with good facilities that made our stay easy. Public transport and convenience stores are nearby, so it felt like a home away from home. I’d highly recommend the accommodation and Vishal’s service.

Vishal at the front desk gave us a warm welcome and arranged an early check-in. He was incredibly helpful throughout our stay, handling each request promptly and efficiently. We had a brilliant time at CLLIX St Paul’s Tower in a two-bedroom apartment, and the pool views were beautiful.
