Isla House Greenslopes

A comfortable, safe, relaxing place to stay, with a well-equipped kitchen and a really comfortable sitting area. The staff were friendly and made me feel at home. It felt like a home away from home, and they even offer affordable transport to the city. Thank you so much!

The room was clean and basic, with everything I needed, and I felt safe and secure. It's very close to Greenslopes Hospital, and the shuttle bus to and from the hospital was an added bonus. Seng was a godsend. When my husband was admitted to hospital and I had virtually nowhere to stay, she helped me find accommodation. 👍👍

The private bathroom was a plus, and the place was clean, but it felt more like a hostel than a motel. There was a well-stocked shared room nearby, yet nothing in my room for food or drinks, not even a box of tissues. Seems that's how things are these days.

My granddaughter and I barely slept because other guests kept making noise and slamming doors. When I raised it with the owner, she just smiled and didn't seem to care. I also got COVID during the stay, so I was very unhappy with the experience. The room had already been paid for, but the owner took money from my bank account without permission and has refused to refund it. I wouldn't give this motel one star, but had to in order to post. If you're considering staying here, I'd strongly suggest finding somewhere else.
