Mantra on the Quay

The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, but the apartment needed a proper clean. It didn't look thoroughly vacuumed, some light fittings weren't working, and the furniture was shabby. There was no television in the bedrooms. For the price, I expected more.

The river walk is nearby, and there's a convenience store next door, which was perfect for late-night ice cream 😊 Reception staff were really friendly, and I had a lovely view from my room. The bed was so comfortable that I ended up napping much longer than planned and was late meeting friends a couple of times. Really nice room and a convenient location.

We had four adults in a two-bedroom apartment on level six, with plenty of room. The Brisbane river view was great, even if a little restricted. We spent many peaceful hours on the balcony with a glass of wine, watching the activity on the water. The apartments felt modern and clean, with all the usual facilities, and having a washer and dryer was a much appreciated bonus. Restaurants, the river and the CBD were easy to reach on foot. The river Cat was only a five-minute walk away.

The desk staff looked after us really well throughout the stay, and the hotel’s location and Story Bridge view from the 13th floor were fantastic. My only real issue was the bed. I’m small, but it sagged so much that I felt like I was dropping into a hole. Everything else was great.
