The shared toilet was unpleasant to use with strangers who were disrespectful, and even took the toilet paper. The house itself was old, nasty, and gross, nothing like what the website showed. It wasn’t worth the price, and I won’t return.

Room 8 was spacious and cosy, and the whole place was tidy and clean during our five nights there. Clinton was kind and gave us clear instructions whenever we needed them. A nice place.

We were a bit shocked as English students. The hotel itself isn't bad, but there’s no youth hostel feel, and after 9.30pm there’s nothing to do. The walls are so thin you hear everything, which made it hard to sleep. John, the manager, was the worst part. He lives there, I think, and keeps bothering guests. He shouts a lot and can’t speak calmly. Every morning he woke us early by talking and singing loudly in the kitchen. He acts like a dictator, maybe because his own life sucks. If you see him, run away.

My room was in the basement, with a good bed, fridge, and table. The bathrooms were just a few steps away, and the kitchen was on the ground floor. The tenants were decent, and I was satisfied overall. A bus stop is a minute from the room, and the train station is about a 6-8 minute walk.

The shared toilets and showers were really clean, and the kitchen was modern and well equipped. There’s also a tidy entertainment area with a comfortable sofa and nice TV. Staff were friendly and helpful when they could be. The internet costs extra but worked fine, and if you’re staying a week, ask staff whether there’s a cheaper or free option. Rooms are cheap and nice, common areas are pleasant, and you can walk to the city centre in about 25 minutes.
