I accidentally booked this apartment on booking.com for 10 days. I had two tabs open for the same dates, for different places, and clicked reserve on both. I didn't enter payment details for this property; I paid for a more suitable alternative in the other tab and didn't realize that the Astor apartments booking had been finalized too. I explained the mistake to reception and repeatedly asked them to cancel it. I had used a work credit card, not even my own card. I was willing to pay for a few nights, but they refused to cancel or refund even part of the cost, leaving the apartment paid for and empty for 10 days. This was a booking-site technical error, not a change of plans, and I couldn't reach anyone on the site to dispute it. I will NEVER EVER EVER book here again, even if it means sleeping on the street. $5000 gone to waste because they wouldn't make an exception for a genuine mistake. COMPLETELY UNREASONABLE. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL.

When we first opened the door, a disgusting smell hit us. The microwave was dirty, the beds were uncomfortable and itchy, the accent pillows were dirty, and the bathrooms were moldy. We had to buy an air freshener just to make it smell a little better. We're staying here and it's horrible. CANNOT RECOMMEND AT ALL!

I can't really rate the rooms since I spent three days trying to find out whether they allowed a bird, and nobody ever answered the phone. I was told to leave a message, but the inbox was full and wouldn't save it. Great way to run a business.

I booked through booking.com and left this stink hole after just two hours. The place was filthy and smelly, and then we found the fridge wasn't working. I chose it because of the reviews, which now seem made up, since the pictures definitely don't show what you get. DONT GO HERE, you'll be disappointed.

I was very impressed, and it felt like money well spent. We booked two rooms, one with a Queen bed and one with two single beds, for an incredibly cheap price. The place had a great cookers kitchen with Miele appliances and a massive fridge, two bathrooms, a spacious living, dining, and lounge area, a laundry, and a balcony. The room was clean and came with clean linen, towels, and cleaning essentials. The man at the front desk was amazing and looked like he worked really hard. We tried the freezing outdoor pool, then warmed up in the very hot hot tub and relaxed in the sauna. It was divine. Downstairs there's a massive entertaining area with two barbecues and seating for more than 100 people.
