That walking path along the beach at sunset is THE BEST, especially with the breeze 🌇❤️✌️🤞

We only lasted five minutes before complaining, and were offered a refund without any trouble. The accommodation was revolting and wildly overpriced: mould everywhere, old food on the doorknobs, stained floors and bedding, and dust and grime in every nook. The windows were so filthy you could barely enjoy the beautiful view. For the same price, we found a huge two-bedroom apartment at the Mantra, which was amazing, with a gorgeous view through sparkling clean windows.

The apartment has direct beach access and ocean views from everywhere, plus a good-sized balcony. It’s right on the beachfront along a quiet stretch of Surfers paradise. The place isn’t especially plush, but the location makes up for it.

An older-style apartment, but comfortable for our weekend. You can see the view from the balcony, and the beach is right out the back. The markets on the beachfront are a two-minute walk away, and Surfers Paradise mall is within five minutes.

The room smelled as soon as we walked in. There was hardly any bedding, the decor was broken, and half the lights didn’t work. Everything felt dirty and run-down, and it looked nothing like the pictures. Horrible.
