The staff were excellent. They let us store our luggage, were flexible with late check-in, and were polite and willing to help. The accommodation itself only met very basic needs. We stayed at Brisbanes Punthill in January 2026. Our room worked for three people, but it felt old and dull, nothing like the vibrant rooms shown in the professional Google photos. We found an old, empty beer bottle in the bedside drawer. The kitchenette was reasonable in layout, but the dishwasher was filthy, and the dishes, cooking equipment, and utensils were dirty, so we had to hand-wash everything before using it. The room looked tidy, but the cleaning felt rushed and missed details.

The location is great, close to Central Station and the things you need, and I'd definitely come back if I had the chance. Staff looked well presented and were friendly. Check-in was quick, and the room was clean and nicely presented. I arrived a day before NYE, so there were quite a few partygoers, though they didn't bother me. I imagine a usual week would be peaceful. The view from level 5 wasn't the best, but was still nice. The only issue was the sliding door sticking a couple of times and coming off its track, though it was easy to fix.

The staff were the highlight for me. They were attentive and really went above and beyond for guests. There's a pool, and the cafe downstairs is great for breakfast. Punthill apartments is a lovely place to stay, highly recommended.

The staff were incredibly helpful, and the location is brilliant for quick trips into the inner city. The room was clean and the bed comfortable, though the rooms could use an update.

Good staff, a convenient location, and the room was mostly clean. But we paid $285 for one night and another $50 for late checkout, then were told after checking in that maintenance would be coming early to work on the air-conditioning. That defeated the point of paying for late checkout. The beds were very hard, the room was noisy, and there was just one slow lift. It was okay for a short stay, but not comfortable for the price.
