The pub and cafe across the road were brilliant, but the accommodation had a serious cockroach problem. We were there for a week and saw about 20 roaches, so we kept everything zipped up in our suitcase. Staff gave us bug spray and said the bugs move between rooms. We also saw toadstools growing out of the gutter. My wife showed them photos and asked for them to be removed.

I stayed here a year ago and liked it, but the place has gone way downhill since. In ten minutes, seven cockroaches crawled out to greet us. The room and hotel generally were filthy, and the pillow was as flat as a pancake. I had the worst night's sleep. I won't come back. Whoever manages and cleans this property needs a serious shake-up.

Good value, with plenty of off-street parking. The location is handy, and the hospitality, cleanliness and comfort were all great.

The room was dated, though clean, and the front desk team were friendly, kind and polite. They really are an asset to the motel. Sleep was difficult, though, because men walked up and down the hallway at night talking loudly. 😀

The rooms were clean, and parking was available on site. The staff were friendly and efficient. It's an easy walk to the railway, and there's a great pub meal across the road. I'd stay again when I'm in the area.
