The location was the best part: about a 10-minute walk to the river, Coles, South Brisbane train station, and restaurants. The price was fairly reasonable, and the apartment was decent for what it was. Check-in staff were friendly and answered our tourist questions. We had a two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment in the Artisan building (no. 18), on the second floor facing the pool. It got no natural sunlight and had no view. There were just two sets of sliding glass doors, one in the 'master bedroom' and one in the living room. The bedroom balcony was more like a tiny courtyard, enclosed by three walls with wooden beams across the roof. From the living room balcony, metal bars looked onto the outdoor pool. The air felt damp and musty, so we really needed the aircon running to circulate it. The kitchenette had basic cooking utensils, which were enough for us. The pool is small, and the gym only had a treadmill and a stationary bike.

The staff were great to deal with, from arranging after-hours check-in to a late checkout. Parking was easy, the place was comfortable, and the location put everything we wanted to see within walking distance. Really good value. I'd stay again on my next visit.

From check-in through checkout, the whole stay was amazing. Every staff member was wonderful and the customer service was exceptional. The apartments, room service, cleaning, reception, foyer and amenities were all great. I only wish I had more time to add more compliments. Thank you!

The location was the one good thing about this stay. The sofa was soaked with some unknown substance, and the corridors had a strong, unpleasant smell. On top of that, the building manager accused me of not paying, even though they had earlier confirmed I could pay at checkout. The way the property is managed seemed unprofessional. It was a frustrating, uncomfortable experience.
