Southbank Modern Luxe Apartment

My bed squeaked at the slightest movement, which is why I can’t rate the place higher. There are things to do, including table tennis, books and a pool. It’s a nice place in general, but could use some improvements.

We walked to most of the places we wanted to visit, since City and the SouthBank cultural and dining precinct are only minutes away on foot. The modern complex has what you need for either a short or longer stay, and the apartment was furnished well and matched its description. Access to the rooftop pool and BBQ area was a nice extra. We’d definitely recommend it.

The price was reasonable, the place was clean, and the location worked well for me. I planned to stay for three months, but ended up there for 15, leaving only because I wanted my own house. Andrew and Rhoda were always helpful and respectful, as were the other residents. I never had any issues. It seems suitable for students, small families and working professionals.

At least I got my bond back, but the apartment was very dirty and when I raised the condition, they told me to move out instead of offering a solution. The female manager yelled at me and said, “it is your problem,” as if I were wrong to complain. Staff were rude, especially her, and the rooms don’t have keys, which feels unsafe. Since SouthBank Brisbane Apartments replied, I want to add that what I said is true. They should be ashamed of the terrible service.
