I come to Brisbane for work each month and always stay here. Sandra is wonderful and makes me feel like part of her family. The staff are all lovely, and Lucy from housekeeping greets me with a smile every time. The rooms are so clean. Five stars from me, and I'd recommend this place to anyone.

The receptionist was very helpful, and the place felt modern despite its age. It was a welcoming, nice stay. The internet didn't meet my needs, though, and it took half an hour for my tablet to connect. Breakfast also cost extra, unlike at other nearby hotels. Otherwise, pretty nice.

I had to change my booking the day before arrival, and the staff sorted it out in about 30 seconds without any fuss. They're straightforward, friendly, and professional. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the hotel is quiet. If you're sensitive to noise, call ahead about your room needs: the back rooms face a small construction site, though the sound insulation was decent. Shops, restaurants, and trains are right nearby, there's free parking onsite, and nearby street parking wasn't too hard to find.

The welcome at reception was cheerful and really friendly. My room was average, with a reasonable bed and bathroom and no particular complaints. You'll need binoculars for the TV. I didn't see anything nearby, so expect to use Uber Eats or something similar.

There were six of us, and the room had enough space and very adequate facilities. It was tidy and comfortable, and the location was ideal for staying near Brisbane CBD. I'd happily recommend it.
