Treasury Brisbane

The location made it easy to explore the city, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout. The Treasury Hotel is a beautiful historic building full of character, with spacious, clean rooms and classic decor that suits its heritage feel. Staying there feels special compared with a standard modern hotel. A few things kept it short of a five-star experience for me. There was no complimentary bottled water, and some TV channels didn’t work. Our first room, on the fourth floor, had a very strong unpleasant smell in one corner. Staff handled it well and moved us to a second-floor room without a problem, but that shouldn’t really happen in a five-star property. It was a pleasant stay with great service in a lovely building, but those small misses held it back.

They gave us complimentary fruit after quickly dealing with a water leak in the hotel during the day, which was nice. We arrived in Brisbane early and got to the Treasury around 9am. They held our bags and brought them up once the room was ready, then texted us well before the listed check-in time. The staff were friendly and professional. The hotel has a nicely decorated, classic feel. Its gym was empty when we used it and stayed open until 10pm, with a good range of weights and cardio machines. Our room was pretty standard, with a fairly spacious bathroom and a balcony overlooking the square that we didn’t use. The location, price and value were great, and I’d recommend the Treasury if you’re staying in Brisbane CBD.

The staff were welcoming, attentive and helpful, and everything was super clean. The bathroom was spacious too. I’d wanted to stay at the Treasury Hotel Brisbane for ages, and it definitely delivered. The building is beautiful and historic, with old-world charm, and the central location made getting around easy. Our room was spacious and the bed so comfortable that I slept in and was late for work! It reminded me of the five-star hotel we stayed at in Singapore earlier this year, just as good. Highly recommended, and I’ll look to stay here again on my weekly Brisbane trips.

The location was the best, and I can’t think of a reason not to come back. We arrived quite late, and Jason at reception helped make sure we got the perfect room. It was grand and palatial, with a beautiful bathtub fit for a queen. In the morning, Harl, a beautiful Filipina, helped us with directions to our tour meetups. She was so helpful and proactively suggested things to do in Brisbane and explained how to get to Gold Coast like a local. When we checked out, Grant stayed with us until our Uber arrived. The Treasury Hotel gave us a royal stay, and the staff made sure we were treated like royalty. Thanks, everyone!
