Such a happy discovery for us ❤️ We came in for a tasting and left thoroughly delighted. It’s unusual to find a vineyard focused on just one varietal, but when they do it this well, there’s no need to cater to everyone with lots of options. The Blanc de Blanc was delicious, and the Chardonnays that followed all tasted distinct. A really joyful way to learn about Chardonnay. Thanks for a lovely tasting!

The setting is lovely, and I enjoyed discovering a place that specialises in chardonnays. My tasting was delightful and informative. I can’t remember the woman’s name, but she patiently shared the story behind each wine and looked after me so well. I’m sure the wine world will hear more from this place.

We felt at ease as soon as we arrived at Winmark Vineyard. The whole place is beautifully designed, and the wine and service were genuinely excellent. We also loved starting the day at the little coffee corner with fresh coffee and proper French croissants. The cellar door is worth stopping at for the wine and the lovely views across the vineyards. There’s plenty to discover in the on-site art gallery and boutique, too, with so many beautiful pieces to look at. We’d happily return, whether for a day trip and tasting or another overnight stay in one of the cozy houses on the property. Winmark is absolutely worth a visit.

The gift shop is well worth a look. I found some beautiful things there that I’d never seen anywhere else. Eight of us spent a magnificent weekend at Rock View Cottage to celebrate a big birthday, and everything from the clean accommodation and special touches to the super friendly cellar door staff made the experience terrific.
