Adina Apartment Hotel Melbourne on Flinders

A grocery store is next door, and the central RR station is nearby. The apartments are spacious, with a full kitchen and laundry, and have beautiful views of the river and botanical gardens. Great value. You can hear the railroad operation a little, but it isn’t intrusive.

The apartment was surprisingly big, more like a full suite than a standard hotel room, with plenty of room to spread out. We stayed at Adina Apartment Hotel Melbourne on Flinders last August. The washer-dryer combo worked well and was a lifesaver for a longer stay. Location is hard to beat, within walking distance of Hosier Lane, Degraves Street and the CBD’s best cafes and galleries. The nights were chilly, though. We couldn’t work out the heater settings despite trying, and ended up layering up indoors. Clearer instructions for the climate controls would have helped. They only cleaned after a few days, and if we had concerns we had to go to the front desk. Most of the staff were helpful.

Customer service was very poor. They don’t respond to calls, and when they do answer, they put you on hold. The staff are very unprofessional. Be careful when choosing a room with them. I really wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

Good internet, a great bed and clean rooms. The staff were excellent too. The apartments are large and spacious, and it’s an excellent place for a business trip. The bathroom works fine, though it isn’t very modern.
