My sister, brother-in-law and I stayed at My Nanna's Place for five nights from 20/7/16. Dorothy was at the cottage when we arrived and made us feel welcome. It was cosy, clean, warm and relaxing, with all the comforts of home. After a day out as tourists, it was a lovely place to return to. The main shopping area was within walking distance, and I'd recommend My Nanna's Place to anyone looking for accommodation in Broken Hill. Thank you, Dorothy. Rachel W

A rose garden out front gives My Nanna's Place a lovely bit of charm. We found the miner's cottage homely, with a cosy lounge and big-screen TV, three bedrooms, an eat-in kitchen, bathroom and internal laundry. It's close to both the city centre and the mine, and we'd happily stay at My Nanna's Place again if we return to Broken Hill.

Dorothy was easy to reach by mobile if we had questions, and she met us at the house to hand over the key and show us around. The place had an old-fashioned charm and felt like home, with comfortable beds, plenty of blankets and a good shower. It was warm on cold nights, and much nicer to come back to than a motel room after a day out. We stayed five nights, the three of us, and found it clean, cosy and well equipped. Shops and restaurants are within walking distance. Thanks, Dorothy. We'd stay again if we're back in the outback.

I've stayed at 'My Nannas cottage several times and have really enjoyed it. There are three bedrooms and a large kitchen, and the place is clean and quiet. It's close to Broken Hill City centre. All the rooms have air conditioning, and there's a large TV in the main living room. Plenty of free street parking too. I'd recommend staying here.

There's plenty of room, and off-street parking is handy. This original miners cottage was clean and had everything we needed, with a real step-back-in-time feel. If you're tall, keep in mind the main bedroom has a double bed. The two singles at the back of the house may suit you better.
