Moonlight Bay Suites

The pool is beautiful, and the rooms are big and nice, but the air conditioning is too weak. Without a car or scooter, you’d be better off sleeping at Cable Beach. Honestly, I wouldn’t return if I came back to Broome, though I’ve stayed in worse places.

The rooms are huge, the vibe is great, and the pool area has lovely views of the mangroves and ocean. A credit to the staff and management. Special thanks to Maria at the front desk for the warm, friendly welcome and for checking me in early after some very long flights.

Our room and the location were both good, and the housekeeping and maintenance team were fantastic. The trouble was the front desk. When the air conditioning failed, we were told there was no other room because the place was full, even though the room next door was empty. We spent an uncomfortable night and got no apology. Later, I asked to check out at 11 instead of 10 at the end of the week. Again, they said they were fully booked, followed by a shrug. The male receptionist was rude and seemed not to care. He stayed seated while talking to me, and his attitude is the main reason I won't return. It's an expensive place, and some consideration after the AC problem would have gone a long way. I live in Broome and will tell people about the poor experience. I'd seriously consider staying elsewhere.

I felt very comfortable here travelling on my own. The staff were so friendly that they even let me stay on the property after checkout, use the pool, and freshen up in the guest shower room before I left. The photos match what you get, and there's laundry with free detergent if you need it. The apartment had everything I needed, including a kitchen, fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle, utensils, AC, fan, TV, and iron and board. It's also handy for Town Beach, the Broome Explorer bus stop, and around a 15-minute walk from the Greyhound/Integrity station and Chinatown. I'd happily stay again in Broome and recommend it.
