Reflections Holiday Parks Terrace Reserve

This park is a short walk from both the beach and the town centre, and it works well for vans and caravans. We found it quiet during the week, outside school holidays and in the cooler months. We’ll be back.

People can walk in off the street and set up for the day right in front of your cabin. When asked to move, they were rude. Put up gates or a fence around the grounds so paying guests don’t have to deal with this.

Shaun, I think that was his name, was really helpful and drove around to help us look for our things. The campsite itself is nice and well located, but both our eskies were stolen on the very first night. A few permanent residents told us theft of eskies, drinks, bikes and other things happens fairly often if you leave them outside. For a more expensive camping stay, I’d expect the park to warn guests or take steps to prevent it. Instead, the woman at reception brushed it off as our fault, which was disappointing. You also can’t have fire pits, which takes away from the camping atmosphere.

The parks and amenities are nice and clean, but unfortunately a holiday here is getting very pricey, especially when Reflections is State Government owned.
