Grow at Goodwood

We had an excellent one-night stay in the two-bedroom apartment at Grow at Goodwood, SA. It was spacious, clean, tidy, and had all the amenities we needed. The location was convenient and the free parking was a great bonus. Customer service was outstanding: the team were responsive, professional, and helpful during phone check-in. They also kindly offered us a complimentary check-in an hour early because of a personal situation, which we really appreciated. I'd highly recommend Grow at Goodwood to anyone wanting a comfortable, well-managed place to stay.

The app key system was painful. I was there with my wife, but we only had one key access, so I had to take her phone to get in and out. The kitchen was clean, though there weren't many amenities. For our six-day stay there wasn't enough body wash or toilet paper, and we had to buy more. With no reception and so little customer interaction, the place seemed thoughtless and uncaring. There was a funny smell when we entered the apartment, and the hallway carpets were dirty and looked rough. If you're not tech savvy, or you're elderly, this place may not work for you. Not recommended.

The place smelled like wet dogs, and for nearly 3000 for two nights it was way overpriced. Towels and toiletries were stingy, the phone staff dismissive and condescending, and the area didn't feel that great, with junkies on the street when you walk out. The walls were paper thin, so there was no privacy and we could hear everything in our apartment and everyone else's. The online check-in was the worst imaginable. After already paying, you have to send your credit card details and ID to who knows where, then download some random app just to check in. There were also strange people living there who I assume were permanent residents, acting as if they owned the whole building. I wouldn't recommend coming here. You can get somewhere much better and cheaper in a better area, with a lot fewer headaches.

A great place for a short stay, with a good location and extremely comfortable beds. The only letdowns were marks and stains on the towels and no English breakfast tea. I'd stay again.
