Holbrook SKYE Motel

I only stayed because I was too tired to drive any farther, and put up with a lot for $150, way too expensive. The room was a good size, and at least my car was undercover. But there was no toilet paper or soap for washing my hands. When I moved the curtain, rubbish was underneath it, and the screen door had holes. Even if I'd opened that door, it would have blocked the TV view.

The room was roomy and very clean, with a comfortable bed. The staff were really helpful, too. I'll definitely book here again.

A comfortable, clean room with a good TV and aircon. The pub is next door, and the submarine is only 100mtrs away. Nice spot.

I stayed one night while visiting from Melbourne, and would stay again. The location was a 5.0 for me: right in the heart of Holbrook, within walking distance of everything, including IGA, the bakery and pub, and one block from the Visitor Information Centre and Holbrook Submarine Museum. Parking also rated 5.0, with an undercover carport on site beside the room. It made getting luggage inside especially convenient in the rain. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating, including with my same-day booking and late check-in. The bathroom walls could use a little TLC. It's mostly an aesthetic issue, but they feel old compared with the rest of the room. My scores: overall 4.6, room 3.5, staff 5.0, and amenities 5.0. The 24/7 Business Center was unrated because I didn't use it. No neutral observations.
