This was our second trip here. The food was lovely, and the staff were respectful enough to give us privacy when they could see we needed it. The Aussie burger was great, and the vol au vent at $12 was good value.

I booked the hotel by mistake because I rushed, so that’s on me. For older people, I’d say it’s definitely a no no, though backpackers should be fine. The room was very small and had only one power outlet, so I had to ask for an extension lead for my sleep aptnia machine. The mattress was very comfortable, though, 4.5 stars for a good night’s sleep.

We chose one of the cheaper rooms for the night and slept really well. Dinner was delicious, with plenty of gluten-free options to choose from. The staff were friendly and welcoming. We’ll be back.

There’s a playground and craft table for kids, and they eat free on Sat/Sun nights. The food was decent, but the chorizo came with a tiny serve of icecream and cottees choc syrup instead of actual chocolate sauce. The cheese and bacon garlic bread was disappointing too.
