We’d booked under Bonnie & Clyde, which gave the staff a laugh. This was our second evening at the restaurant, because we’d liked the first so much. The steak was delicious and, even though I’m not someone who likes spending a lot, I felt it was worth the price. Both nights were relaxed. We stayed until we were the last customers, and nobody hurried us along or made us feel they were closing up. The staff were friendly, happy to handle our requests, and chatted with us as they worked. Thanks to Krisna and Mason, and apologies to the other lovely staff whose names I’ve forgotten. The food and service made both evenings enjoyable, and I’d gladly recommend them.

The crab linguini was delicious, and the Greek salad was just as good. We also tried the chocolate mousse and spiced date pudding, both top notch. The restaurant food was well above what I’d expect from pub fare. We’re looking forward to coming back.

We had a really enjoyable dinner at the hotel, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was very clean, and the old style of the place gives it lots of character. We’d certainly stay here again.

The common areas are lovely, and the location and weather are amazing. Even in the middle of summer, it has a wintery feel. The rooms are old, but clean and well maintained. It’s a nice hotel.

The pub food was very nice, and our queen room with ensuite was basic but very clean. The bed was softer than I like, though I still slept well. A small bar fridge and a TV would be useful additions to the room.
