We had a great first trip to Norfolk Island, and Whispering Pines was a lucky find. It’s in a lovely, quiet spot with great views, yet only a few minutes by car from Burnt Pine town. The team at Whispering Pines made everything run smoothly, which helped us relax and enjoy the island without stress.

I’ve stayed at Whispering Pines twice now, first in Cottage 5 and this time in Cottage 4. It’s peaceful, the views are great and everything is close by. I’d recommend giving it a try. This was my fifth visit to Norfolk Island, and I love the people, attractions and chance to relax there.

The view from everywhere was amazing, and waking up to it was lovely. This two-bedroom, two-ensuite accommodation was spotless and in a great location, with a short drive into town for shopping. The kitchen could use a little more bench space, perhaps by putting the microwave on a shelf.

The managers jump on any issue straight away and go out of their way to make guests comfortable. We had free Wi-Fi, a local mobile with credit, a BBQ, gas hot water that heats as you go, an airport bus transfer, a rental car waiting onsite when we arrived and a free Island Orientation tour. The place is centrally located with beautiful views and all the facilities you could need. The beds are comfy, and having a bathroom for each bedroom is a real win.

The owners and managers did a lot to make this wonderful property work even better for us. It was lovely and quiet, although the points do whisper, and the comfortable beds helped us get a good sleep and rest. Norfolk Island is beautiful.
