We first wandered in four years ago hoping to find somewhere really nice. Eve kindly showed us around the resort and one of the rooms, and we loved it straight away. Since then, we've come back a few times every year. The location, right in the heart of Byron, is fantastic. Our favourite thing is sipping cocktails by the pool. The staff are all amazing, and it's especially lovely to see Eve again each time. She's so helpful and always goes above and beyond. Already looking forward to our next visit.

The rooms are generous in size, and ours opens straight onto the pool. The retro decor feels like stepping into somewhere between the 50s and 70s, which we loved. Hope they keep that vibe! It's a gorgeous spot in the middle of lively Byron, with super friendly, accommodating staff. Definitely recommend.

The rooms are a little dated, but that really didn't bother me. The location is amazing, and the people and atmosphere are something special. The staff couldn't do enough for you. I'd go back in a heartbeat. I miss the place already.

This place became my sanctuary. I first arrived two years ago while dealing with breast cancer and feeling unsure about what the future held. The disease kept coming back, but here I found an oasis of healing. The beauty of the surroundings made me want to embrace life, and helped me feel that healing might be possible. The landscape, soft lighting and genuinely kind staff come together in a way that feels almost divine. I've traveled widely and seen remarkable food and accommodation, but this place goes beyond luxury. There's a real sense of healing and connection. Byron Bay has left a lasting imprint on my soul. France, where I studied and lived, used to be my peak experience, but this has changed what I hold dear. It's my number one, my everything. If you want an experience that stays with you, this is the place. Hospitality has always been part of my life. My father was the first person awarded the king of hospitality title, and received it three more times. I was the tourism ambassador for the Gold Coast. I've looked after the king of Dubai, George Clooney, Mel Gibson and Dolph London, taking them to wonderful places during their time in our country. This was my secret place, and now I'm sharing it. I've inherited that passion from my father.

The on-duty manager couldn't even be bothered to get up from the desk and speak to us. It felt completely unprofessional, and I have to ask: what happened to customer relations, Beach Hotel? The big issue was the advertised EV charging. We checked with reception before booking, but nobody mentioned it was an old Tesla system that they knew wouldn't work with other EVs. The public charger around the corner was out of order. After losing half a day, we drove to a first-class hotel where our friends were staying, paid for parking, and used their charger instead. It's 2025, and an updated Tesla charger that accepts all EVs costs $800.
