Byron Bay Rainforest Resort

Our cabin at Byron Bay Rainforest Resort was clean, pet friendly and had everything we needed in the kitchen. The property itself is beautiful, with a pool, spa, pool table and indoor lounge. It’s close to town, the shops and the beach, and the stay was wonderfully relaxing. Phillip was a welcoming, genuine and informative host. We didn’t stay long enough to properly enjoy it, so next time we’ll come for at least a week. Whenever I’m in Byron Bay again, this is where I’ll stay. Thanks again, Phillip!

The owner was very kind and made us feel welcome. Our cabin was quiet and relaxing, with air conditioning, a TV, clean linen and fly screens outside to keep mosquitoes out. The shared kitchen and lounge area were nice, but both could use a deep clean. The dishes weren’t clean, and the dish scrubber was filthy. The kitchenette and bathroom also feel old and need an update. There was mould on the shower curtain and in the vanity, cobwebs around the cabin, and a leaking toilet. We were also uncomfortable being expected to reuse a broken pump bottle of body wash and handwash that other guests may have used. Being eco friendly can still be hygienic. We enjoyed our stay, but the condition made it feel a bit pricey. Thanks for having us.

The bed was very comfortable, and the location was quiet. The kitchen and bathroom are a bit dated, but they worked fine for us. Free washers and dryers were a nice bonus.

This is such a peaceful, beautiful place to stay. I came to Byron for medical appointments, business and some time to myself, and the cabins were a lovely place to unwind. I could hear the ocean as I fell asleep, and there were beautiful birds right by my back step. The clever cabin design makes it feel like you’re in nature while still having the comforts of home, including a pool and nice places to sit outdoors. It’s also close to the beach and pet friendly. The cabins were clean, and I appreciated how seriously they take their environmental values. It felt refreshing to stay somewhere that follows the ethos it advertises. Phillip was kind, accommodating and knowledgeable about the area. He pointed out nearby restaurants and other local businesses, showed me how to get around, and went out of his way to help with my stay requirements. I’ll definitely visit again, and might even plan a trip around it. Highly recommend.
