Lily Pad At Byron Bay

We loved coming back to The Lily Pad each day, sitting on the deck and taking in the nature all around us. The studio is light filled and spacious, with a lovely sense of calm and complete privacy. Set in a lush rainforest garden, it's only minutes from the buzz of Byron town but feels a world away. Julie has thought of everything, including a cabana beach shade, and the studio had everything we needed. It exceeded all our expectations. I can't recommend it highly enough.

Julie made our stay so personal, adapting to all our needs and being one of the most accommodating hosts. The beautifully maintained property had all the comforts we needed. It's a lovely tropical oasis just outside Byron bay, close enough to town but with some space from the bustle. Thanks again, Julie. The gardens were a real highlight, and the villa was perfect in every way. Linda & Paul greeted us, showed us around, then left us to ourselves, which is what other hosts should do. They even left fresh eggs for breakfast and limes for evening drinks without making a fuss. I can't thank them enough for being such perfect hosts. After all my years of travel, Lily Pad is among the most relaxed, peaceful and beautifully presented places I've stayed. It wasn't crazy glitzy, but I felt completely comfortable and relaxed there, and was sad to leave.

We loved having both the studio and pavilion for our family of four, including our two teenage children. The owners were helpful with all our questions, and the accommodation was comfortable, well equipped and felt luxurious. Lily Pad is a real escape, with a peaceful garden and lovely views from the verandah across the bushland and paddock where the horses are. It still puts Byron’s beaches, cafes and restaurants close by. We can’t wait to return.
