We had lovely views from our room on the fourth floor. The fly screen doors meant we could leave the glass doors wide open at night and let the breeze in. We were told the room hadn’t been refurbished, but it was perfectly okay and we found nothing to fault. The staff at reception and management were lovely. Just be aware that the steps down to the beachfront are steep and the driveway slopes. With a vehicle, access wasn’t a problem for us, and we were happy to drive to restaurants. I don’t know if we’ll ever visit this wonderful part of Australia again, but if we do, I’d love to stay here.

Our studio room was lovely, perched high above Trinity Beach with an ocean view. The pool was good, with plenty of sun loungers, and there were BBQ facilities too. It’s a great spot for sunrise photos.

We had a great stay. The rooms were beautifully renovated, and the location was excellent. We’d happily stay here again.

8/10
Our renovated room was as pictured, and I’m glad we booked one. From the balcony we could see the water, and with the waves echoing through the room it felt like being on the beach. At first it was quite noisy, but we got more used to hearing water run when other guests showered. Management was extremely helpful with the booking and throughout our stay. The pool was a bit ordinary, if that’s a must-have. The bus stop is a two-minute walk away, with buses passing regularly for easy trips to Cairns and Smiths shops.

The balcony view is incredible, and the owners were so polite and helpful. The beach and places to eat are close by, with everything else we needed nearby too. Cairns is a short drive away, and Port Douglas is about 30 minutes away. There’s plenty to do around here, from snorkeling the Barrier Reef and visiting waterfalls to crocodile tours, kayaking, and jet skiing. We had a great stay and would highly recommend it.
