The room was basic but clean and practical, and the air conditioning worked well, which is essential in Cairns. Shops and cafes were an easy walk away. The bed was comfortable, though a bit too soft for me, and the shower was fiddly but worked fine. WiFi was available, but it wouldn't work once connected.

They took extra care with my allergies, which I really appreciated. The rooms were clean and had no mould, and the staff were friendly and very accommodating. It's close to most attractions and restaurants. I'll stay at this motel again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

The motel is in a good spot and housekeeping came daily. Our sheets were changed after three days. Parking was outside the property, but that wasn't a problem. There's no lift. On our second day the power tripped, which left us worried about the food in the fridge. Thankfully it was back at about 9am. Afterward, they gave us extension cords because everything had only one switch. The shower had no window or exhaust fan, and the phone number provided went unanswered. It was an okay motel overall.

The front desk lady was very nice, and the location was decent, not far from the town centre. The rooms were old and worn, though clean, and I don't think this deserves three stars, two at most. Unfortunately, we got bed bug bites on our ankles. Not a huge number, but enough to notice. Luckily, we only stayed one night before our flight.

They were supposed to refund us for one night, as discussed, but now they won't answer my calls. The shower wouldn't regulate hot and cold, and it woke us in the middle of the night. I called for help and got nowhere. The owner lives on the property, what a joke. Noise from nearby went on for three nights of our five-night stay. I rang seven times throughout the day and am still waiting for the refund or a call. Crappy hotel and a bad experience. I wouldn't recommend staying here. Enter at your own risk.
