Marlin Cove Resort, Private Apartment

The rooms are starting to feel a bit tired, but the great pool, facilities and location more than make up for it. It’s close to local amenities and the pool is fantastic for young kids.

The pool was a treat, large and cleaned every morning, and I loved waking up after a good night’s sleep to see lots of kangaroos beside it while I had coffee on the balcony. Our apartment was spacious, clean and tidy, with modern furniture, lovely decor and a dream of a kitchen. The bed was so comfortable, especially for the price I paid. It’s conveniently close to shops, beaches, restaurants and other tourist attractions. I really enjoyed my stay and would book again if we come this way.

We booked earlier today and got here a couple of hours ago. No one was at reception, but there was a note on the window with my name on it, and we found the apartment easily. We’ve been upgraded to a two bedroom place even though we only need one. There’s a lovely lagoon pool with a beach, just 10 metres from our back door. So far, so good, and great value for what we paid.

A beautiful resort with marvellous apartments. Ours was spacious, with a balcony looking over the tropical pool, which was simply lovely. Check-in and check-out were easy. There aren’t many facilities around if you don’t have a car, but it’s quieter than Cairns centre.
