We were there for ten days and found the owners and managers friendly and helpful. The apartment had the usual kitchen gear, plus a washing machine, iron and ironing board, and thoughtful extras like tissues and cooking oil. It was clean, and the beds were comfortable. We had a balcony facing the pool and garden, and the public bus stop was practically across the road, with trips wherever we wanted to go for 50 cents each. I’d recommend Reef Gateway Apartments if you’re on a budget but still want the comforts of home.

We were in a tight spot last week, and Jenny found us a lovely room at a great rate. It was spacious, clean and had all the appliances and kitchen utensils we needed. The beds and couch were very comfortable, and having Netflix on the TV was nice for quiet evenings. Clean towels and linens were provided, and there was secure parking on site. The location worked well too, within 10-20 minutes of all the excursions we’d booked. I’d definitely recommend staying here in Cairns.

Jenny was brilliant and really helpful. We arrived late from Cairns airport, and this was a perfect place to stay. Lovely rooms, a nice pool, and I’d happily stay again. Highly recommend!

The pool and BBQ area made it easy for my family to eat outside, and the covered space meant we could spend more time out there. The kids loved it. I stayed for two weeks, and the apartment was big and beautiful for an amazing price given the location. The couple at reception were kind and accommodating when I needed to extend, and kept it affordable. The cleaning staff were lovely and happy to help with requests. Safety matters a lot to me, and the gates and entrances use codes and keys. I won’t stay anywhere else next time I’m in cairns.

Royce and Jenny have made a lovely little sanctuary in cairns city. My car was safe in the carpark for all 7 days, and whenever I raised an issue by phone or in person, it was sorted within minutes. Reception staff and cleaners were all great. I’ve visited cairns four times for family events and choosing somewhere safe, friendly and clean was always a worry. I’m glad I found this place, and I’ll be back more often. The pool area was beautiful, and my family members were so impressed with my apartment that they’re booking here next time too.
