The location worked well for both relaxing and exploring the area, and we felt looked after throughout our stay. Staff were welcoming, friendly, and happy to help. Our room was comfortable, clean, and well maintained, and the facilities were better than we expected. We’d happily come back.

Ed was so friendly and helpful. The hotel is neat and tidy, tucked away in a gorgeous spot by the beach. A lovely place for a relaxed break.

4/10
The managers were pleasant and helpful, but the noise made the stay difficult. Planes from the nearby airport pass overhead, and there’s no meaningful sound insulation between apartments. We heard every step from upstairs, along with food being prepared and their TV blaring.

We used this spot as a base to explore Cairns, Port Douglas, and Kuranda by car, which was easy from here. The apartments are well appointed, with a lovely garden and pool, and the beach is close by. We really enjoyed our stay.

2/10
The room was okay, but there was a big hole in the bathroom for access to the air con. That could be a problem for people with respiratory conditions. Customer service was appalling, and we were made to feel like an inconvenience. Staying up past 9pm isn’t allowed, so be aware of that. There was also no Foxtel, despite the big sign out front and the information sheets saying it was available. It ruined our holiday 😔
