Vision Apartments

The facilities and location are excellent, but I can't understand why I was given the very last ground-floor room facing the entrance reception window. I booked and prepaid three months ahead, came in the Cairns off-season, and occupancy was below 50 percent. People coming and going, doors opening and closing, and foot traffic through the garden all affected me. There was also a strange sewer smell throughout the room. I've lived in Australia for ten years, and this was my fourth holiday in Cairns. I usually stay in the suburbs, but this time I chose this five-star serviced apartment in the city center. Getting this room during such a quiet period was truly baffling.

The customer service was the real highlight. They let us check in two hours early without any hassle. Rooms were clean and comfortable, and worked well for families. The location is top notch, with the beach, pool and restaurants all within walking distance. We had an amazing stay and would definitely recommend it and return.

The staff we met were great and helpful, and we had an excellent stay. Our two-bedroom apartment faced the road, and it was clean, tidy and a really good size. The rooms aren't brand new and look a little tired in places, so that's why I gave them a four. One thing the listing doesn't mention is that the rooms have their own washer and dryer. The location is great too, away from the main town's noise but only a five-minute walk. I'd recommend it and stay again without hesitation.

The location is hard to beat, right by the water with restaurants and the esplanade boardwalk all around, plus secure parking. We had a terrific six-night stay at Vision Apartments, from arrival to departure. Our three-bedroom apartment was spacious and spotlessly clean, with super comfortable beds and pillows. I was pleasantly surprised that the apartments are serviced daily. They make the beds and provide fresh towels when needed, along with toilet paper, detergent and other supplies, which you often have to provide yourself. There are two pools and a great gym, which I had to myself on all three visits. The staff were lovely. I'm so glad I chose Vision apartments, and I'd definitely return.
