There’s a secure garden for your dog to enjoy, and the dog-friendly beach is only a short walk away. Inside, the fire was great and firewood was supplied. The furniture is modern, the kitchen has plenty of utensils, and the amenities were sufficient. We also had nice bedding and towels, Chromecast on the TV, and hammocks to relax in.

They really mean pet-friendly here: there’s a big tub of toys and bowls for food and water. The house has everything you need, plus a proper espresso machine for a nice coffee. After a walk on the very close beach, the fireplace is lovely in cooler weather. Can’t recommend it enough.

We’ll definitely come back. The house is spacious, furnished to a high standard and welcomes pets, with scenic beach walks nearby. It had everything I could ask for.

We enjoyed our stay at Hayes beach. It’s a lovely home in a lovely spot, with what you need for a getaway, a short walk to the beach and a great backyard for children.
