The staff were lovely, and both the room and bathroom were roomy and comfortable. The building is modern, clean and beautiful, with a perfect location. I'd happily book here again next time I'm in Canberra.

The gym had new, well chosen equipment and was enough for a short visit. Those blackout curtains really do their job, so set an alarm, lol. I booked at short notice for a couple of nights in Canberra and found the rates very competitive. The decor was modern and immaculate, the location was spot on, and every staff member I dealt with was exceptional. Would definitely stay again.

The air conditioning was the rough part. It was cool when we got there, but shut off during the night and we woke up sweating. We tried to turn it back on without success; it did eventually come on again, after we'd become tired and frustrated. The blackout curtains were fantastic, and the huge bed and bathroom were very comfortable, with lovely styling. It's an attractive hotel with friendly staff, and check-in and parking arrangements were both quick. Our room had an unusual triangular layout because of the building's shape. We didn't use the lounge area, though it looked nice, and the view faced offices. I noticed the light switch panel was broken as soon as we came in, with the panel missing. It was on a curved wall, so it looked like it would never sit properly, haha. We found the missing piece hidden in the cupboard.

I've stayed here several times and will keep coming back when the price suits. Canberra rates can be all over the place: sometimes this hotel is really cheap, sometimes mid range, and sometimes excessively expensive, depending on when you book. It's a modern place with a Sydney feel, right in the city and close to everything. The rooms are quiet and very clean, with what you need: a comfortable bed and couch, a great shower, air conditioning you can control, and a table to work at. Slippers would be a nice addition.
