The motel staff even helped me charge my new EV at their new station, which was the first time I’d managed to do that at a hotel. We were passing through on the way to Brisbane last month, and the renovated room was comfortable. The staff were helpful too. We walked down to the V-Wall to read the family messages painted on the rocks, then Mrs and I had a fantastic dinner at the pub/restaurant as the sun went down. Very happy with the stay, highly recommended.

I’ve only stayed overnight on recent trips, but next time I visit, this hotel will be my destination. It’s beautifully located between the RSL, which delivers reasonably priced meals to your room for free, and a lovely seaside view. The restored building feels like a labour of love, with care in every detail. Rooms are clean and comfortable, and there are options upstairs for people who are fit and downstairs for those with less mobility. The staff are considerate, and it’s good value. There are lovely birds and water dragons in the back garden. Highly recommended.

The views were stunning, and the grounds and amenities were excellent. We had a fantastic room at a reasonable price, and it’s easy to get anywhere from here. Love it. We’ll bring the whole family for annual holidays! 🩷💜🩵

The river and ocean views are great, and the location is close to whatever you need. Our room was comfortable and good, though the bathroom could use an update. It was still acceptable, and I’ll definitely come again.

That was the most comfortable bed I had on our road trip. The views and wildlife were beautiful, and the RSL is right next door. The food was amazing too. Absolutely loved our stay and would definitely come back.
