Adina Serviced Apartments Canberra James Court

The staff were friendly, and restaurants and Canberra Centre are close enough to walk to. I drove into Canberra for a sporting event, so secure parking was a real plus. The apartment had everything I needed for the week, along with a spa bath, sauna and gym, and it was good value for a handy city stay. A couple of things: I couldn't cast my phone to the TV, though that might have been my fault, and EV charging would have been useful. Also, use the toaster under the kitchen hood unless you want to risk setting off the smoke alarm 🤦🏽‍♀️.

For the price and location, it was a good deal. The rooms were clean and no-frills, with plenty of living space and a decent-sized balcony, though some rooms felt cramped and the bathrooms could use an update. The pool looked nice, but it was closed for maintenance and nobody had told us. That was a big reason for the 3-star rating.

I booked through air bnb and had a lovely apartment: two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, and a spa in the main bathroom. There was secure underground parking too. Everyone working there was lovely and helpful, from the room service staff to the managers. I'd recommend Adina Serviced Apartments.

The pool area was nice, and the location worked well, close to restay, the casino and the tram line. The rooms are spacious, but they could use a bit of a facelift: scuffed and chipped walls, dusty vents and broken draws. Our room also smelled of cigarettes when we arrived. Not bad, but not great.
