The kids even got in the pool, though it was cold. We stayed in a family room with our three children, aged 4 to 8, during an overnight flight stop, and it suited us perfectly. Everything was clean, with fresh sheets and towels, a few dishes and a cold fridge. It’s a basic place, so don’t expect five-star polish. There was a real mix of guests, but we never felt unsafe or threatened, and there was no revving Commodore. If you’re fussy or think you’re too good for a simple stay, this may not be for you. We’d happily come back for another overnight stop.

I’m still trying to get the refund they said I could have. When I booked, I was told I’d get my money back if I contacted them before the end of the day. I did that twice, and they acknowledged my requests. Then I got a call demanding a $200 deposit. I said again that I wouldn’t be going ahead and asked for the refund, but the caller just hung up without a goodbye. I emailed today and was told the refund had been denied. After seeing the conditions and other bad reviews, I can understand why people say they lie to get bookings and keep the money. This place feels like a scam. Read the bed bug reviews before booking.

We stopped here for a night with friends while heading south. The staff were really friendly, and the rooms were very clean.

My room was cancelled less than a day before I was due to stay. They emailed to say it was because of overbooking, but several calls and messages through the booking app have gone unanswered. I would’ve given the place zero stars if I could. There was a major sporting event in town at the time and no hotel room available for under 1K, so maybe that had something to do with the overbooking 🤔

The pool was clean and lovely, and I had a fantastic stay. Staff were friendly, really helpful and accommodating. The receptionist was AMAZING! The place has been newly renovated, and the shower was great. Housekeeping were kind and thorough too. I asked for extra t+c supplies and they sorted it without any fuss. Definitely coming back ☺️
