Wildwood

The cabin is gorgeous, and the photos don't really show how lovely it is. Rainforest sounds all around make it a great place to disconnect from the world, literally, since there's no WiFi and signal is limited. We enjoyed wandering the grounds, picking exotic fruits, and doing the self-guided rainforest walk. There's a BBQ and gas stove for cooking, with cafes and restaurants nearby. It's also very close to cape tribulation, so we managed to visit during a short break in the rain.

There was plenty of room outside to sit and listen to the forest, and we enjoyed the fruit from the farm left for us when we arrived. The books about local aboriginal culture, fruit, and forests were a nice touch. Our private cabin was clean, nicely decorated, open plan, and self-contained, with a single ring gas hob for basic cooking. There are nice places to eat locally if you prefer going out. Sharee sent lots of recommendations by email and was great at communicating before we arrived. Thanks for a lovely stay in the Daintree Forest.

In the middle of the jungle, the stay was comfortable and really enjoyable. Jason was a great host and knew where to go for local activities. The facilities are beautiful. We cooled off in the pool, explored the exotic fruit orchard, and relaxed to the sounds of rainforest animals. Amazing time at Wildwood.

We chose this for our honeymoon, and the eco-friendly cabins were beautiful, right up against the rainforest. Guests were welcome to try some truly excellent fruit from the orchard. The staff were very helpful and friendly. There's a BBQ and single gas burner, so you can cook for yourself if you're creative.
