The rooms were clean and tidy, and the meals were pleasant. I appreciated that they replaced the Jurassic shower head after I said it sprayed in ten different directions. The shops are close by. Getting laundry done was rough: my clothes were still soaking after the wash, as were a couple of other people’s, and it took three dryer cycles to get them dry enough for work in the morning. That made for a late night.

The buffet dinner was delicious, especially the desserts, and there was ample room for our caravan. It was a bonus that the motel is pet friendly. We stopped for one night while passing through and booked two rooms. The staff were helpful and friendly, the rooms were clean and comfortable, the facilities were good, and the pool was well maintained and clean. We’d happily stay again.

I took my mum there for her birthday and regret it. The hot rock seafood order had good fish, but the mussels and prawns tasted sour, like they were very old, so we left them untouched 🤮. The buffet food was bland and much too salty, and the salads looked as if they’d been sitting out for days, with both fresh and old tomatoes mixed in. The waitress said there was a new head chef, so I think the problem may simply be that she doesn’t know how to cook properly. There are much better places to eat in Carnarvon.

The kids’ play area was clean and fun, and the pool turned out to be a hidden gem. Staff were warm, happy and welcoming. We had fresh, delicious dinner in the bistro too. A great stop on our travels. Thanks, guys.

We felt secure here, especially with the fenced grounds and our high-value equipment on the 4x4. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the dining options were good. We enjoyed the salmon and salad bar, and the setup seems suitable for young families. The room’s AC under-cycled a bit during the night, since it’s a RAC unit rather than a back-to-back system, but it wasn’t a big issue. Friendly receptionist and a welcoming feel. We’d gladly return.
