The almond lattes were first rate, though we didn’t try the restaurant. The sites at Norwesta were neat, the amenities spotless, and the little park was great. Michelle in the office was a pleasure to deal with by phone and in person. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend staying here in Carnarvon.
I was only here for one night on a work trip and didn’t get to explore everything. The email with check-in instructions and information about nearby facilities was really useful, and what I did use made the trip stress-free. The donga-style room was comfortable and had a kettle. Dinner at the on-site cafe was nice, and the atmosphere under the trees was lovely.
The alfresco BBQ area is great, and having the beautiful Japanese restaurant next door really complements the site. Norwesta is a lovely place for a short stay or while passing through. The donga rooms are clean, nicely presented and comfortable, with a great private bathroom.
The staff were brilliant and went above and beyond to help with a parcel that arrived after we’d left. The restaurant food was first class. We had Japanese and Chinese dishes, as good as anywhere else we’ve eaten. The IGA is right next door for supplies, with Mitre10 on the other corner for hardware. Our powered site was nicely grassed, level, and had no dead spots, with a concrete slab beside the van. It’s a small park, so the amenities are close to everyone. They’re clean, with great water pressure. They aren’t modern, but that means the doors don’t have a crack all around and you get complete privacy. You won’t be disappointed.
Miss Fang's restaurant had awesome food, and all the staff were friendly. This lovely caravan park is close to town. The camp kitchen was great, and the toilets and showers were kept clean. There were grassed areas too. What more could you ask for?
