Getting back to the main roads was straightforward, with several streets leading out, and public transport was nearby. A couple of big shopping centres were about a 10-minute drive away. The motel was easy to find and check-in went smoothly. The pool was open and clean, and the front rooms were single-storey with parking right outside. It stayed quiet even with the main road next door. Take care on the steps at the entrance, though, there are two sets.

The rooms are spacious and nicely equipped, and shops are close by. You may hear some road noise, and the nearest train station is around a 10-minute drive away. For somewhere to sleep, it was decent enough, but my check-in left a bad impression: the manager was drunk when I arrived over the long weekend in Brisbane. If you're arriving after hours, contact the hotel to confirm your key is actually in the key safe. I was told mine would be there, but it wasn't.

Plenty of room, including a good-sized balcony and a large bathroom. The shower was hot and had strong pressure, and there was lots of bench space, handy if you're travelling for work. The bed and pillows were soft, which I like. The place has an eighties-style motel look.

Parking was safe and the location was good, but I wouldn't stay again. The room smelled eggy, and the fridge had half a can of Coke left in it along with plenty of crumbs. The TV switched itself on at 1 a.m. I also saw a woman downstairs sitting and smoking all day. You get what you pay for.

Easy parking just outside the rooms, and getting into Brisbane City by car was simple. Public transport is nearby, and the hospitals and Westfield Chermside Shopping center aren't far away. There are shopping centres within walking distance too. Our room was clean, comfortable, a good size, and had what we needed, including a large, comfy bed. The man at the front desk was friendly and very helpful. Lovely stay.
