The park’s facilities were immaculately clean, and the check-in staff were kind and helpful. It’s a great spot, a pleasant walk from the town centre and right opposite the old Mill, with several options for coffee and food, local artists, produce and a bazaar. It’s also next to the flora/fauna reserve and botanical gardens. Thanks, we’ll recommend the place and come back.

The birdlife was a hit, even with my teenagers who live in the city, and we were sorry to leave after just three nights. It’s a lovely place for a rest away from the city, right beside the Botanical gardens, where an evening stroll is a great end to the day. The staff were amazing, friendly and very helpful. The modern ensuite sites were clean and made camping a little more glam, and there are lots of fun accommodation options too. Imagine an outdoor bath overlooking the tree canopy! They had great family activities planned each day. It’s close to Melbourne and well placed for day trips to both Bendigo and Ballarat. Highly recommend.

A peaceful spot for a weekend getaway, with spotless amenities and good-sized sites. Self check-in was easy, which I loved. Great park, and it’s an easy walk to The Mill and Pub. Nothing negative to say!

We cooked a big, delicious breakfast in the communal kitchen on our last morning, and loved having all the dogs around. We stayed in clamping tent one and even wrote a song while we were there. It was such a comfortable, beautiful tent, and my husband and I had an incredible time. Staff were really friendly, and the no-contact check-in was smooth. We also went to the huge bookstore in town and the Royal theatre, the best cinema ever because you can cuddle on the couch during the movie. We’ll be back.

We loved our “stay 5 pay 4 night” on a powered site. The park was so quiet even though it was almost full, with friendly staff, clean amenities and spacious sites. Being next to the Botanical Gardens was fantastic for walks, and we met some lovely people. Definitely coming back 🥰
