The weekly rate is much lower than the other motels along River Street in Ballina, and the location makes it easy to walk to the town centre and nearby beaches. The new owner was very welcoming, and I was glad to find it was dog friendly. I had a really nice stay and would recommend it to couples or solo travellers.

I was on the phone and watching when the door was kicked in. I contacted the owner, but he did absolutely nothing. The place felt unsafe, and the experience was horrible.

A spotless, pleasant place to break up a road trip. Just right for a stopover.

There’s no owner on site at any time, and the rooms have a strong, unhealthy smell.

The rooms were dirty, and there were prostitutes and drugs around. Not somewhere I’d bring kids.
