Twin Swans Motel

My room was at the back, away from the street, so it was very quiet. It had everything I needed and was spotless. The bed and quality pillows were comfortable, the shower pressure was excellent, and Wi-Fi connected straight away and stayed stable throughout, which isn't always the case elsewhere. Staff were friendly and polite. The property is spacious, exceptionally clean, and great for an overnight stop. Management was extremely helpful, and the room had a brand-new, high-quality smart TV. I'd call it comparable to a 5-star hotel and probably the best motel in town. Highly recommend it if you're staying in Inverell, and I'll definitely return.

I chose Twin Swans Motel on this trip after staying at several other motels in Inverell, and was pleasantly surprised. The room was exceptionally clean, well appointed, and had modern amenities. The front desk staff were professional and welcoming. I'll make this my regular place to stay when I visit Inverell.

The service and room were awful. We told staff there were bugs and cockroaches, and that the lights had gone out at 8pm and stayed off until the next afternoon, with no storm or other apparent reason. They said they couldn't refund us and could only move us to another room. We booked somewhere else because the service was so poor. The manager told me to call the owner, who wouldn't refund the night we hadn't even stayed. Please stay away.

After 10 hours on the road, I was given keys to a room that hadn't been cleaned after the previous guest. They moved me to another room and that was okay, these things happen. The rest of the stay was worse. They never cleaned the room. Each day I got a fresh towel, and that was all. The bed wasn't made, the soaps weren't topped up, and the floor wasn't vacuumed. I left the tag asking them to make up the room, but still came back to an unmade bed, dirty floor, and just a towel. The heater was poor, and without weather seals on the door, the room was very drafty. I'll tell my company never to book here again.
