We liked having a spacious kitchen and lounge, then relaxing with a vino on the backyard lounges. The house suited our kids and dog well, and the wineries did too. Valley Brewhouse even has a playground, which was handy since both came with us. We’d come for the wineries, starting just 5 minutes up the road, and visited plenty within a 20-minute drive, plus a couple of markets along the way. Booking was easy, and we got lots of communication and information about the area.

The covered back patio was great for our BBQ, and the fully fenced yard was handy for our dog. The Cottage was roomy, comfortable, and homely, with everything we needed. Would love to come back.

Good value for money, and it’s pet friendly. This three-bedroom Cottage is close to Cessnock and the wine regions, with plenty of sleeping options. We had a great stay.

There was lots of room for the kids and dogs to play, plus a small side area where bigger dogs could be secured when we went out. The property is a bit older, but clean and comfortable, and being pet friendly helped it feel like home. It’s in a very central spot, within walking distance of a stunning historical building, shops, and restaurants. Since it’s on the main road, the porch is a good place to watch traffic at dusk. I especially liked the art exhibition, while my boys were more into go-karting and the adventure parks. We had a fabulous stay and will definitely be back.

Comfy beds, a great shower, easy entry, and plenty of parking. Everything worked perfectly, the spot was handy for getting everywhere, and the hosts were always available and helpful. One of my best 35 stays in Cessnock. I’ll return and recommend it to all.
