The owner made us feel welcome, and the whole place was spotless and peaceful. We slept really well in the comfortable bed, and the WiFi stayed quick and reliable. Big Brook Retreat was beautifully cared for, and we enjoyed every part of our stay. We’ll definitely be back.

This was our second stay, and we’d happily return again. The retreat is a few kms from town, with lovely, well-kept surroundings, and it was so clean we couldn’t fault it. We enjoyed a walk in the forest just across the road. The little touches were lovely, and having rainwater throughout was a nice surprise.

The trees and plants across the large property made it lovely to wander around, and waking to birdsong in such peaceful surroundings was just what we needed to unwind. Darren and Libby were wonderful hosts. Our chalet was cozy, spotless, and beautifully maintained. A great choice for a quiet, restorative getaway.

We especially loved the bird bath, with so many different visitors, and the views across the beautiful grounds to the forest. The cottage was immaculately clean, with lovely linen and every amenity we wanted. Libby and Darren have made a wonderful place to relax and enjoy this part of W.A. A gravel road close by makes a beautiful forest route to Big Brook Dam. We loved our three nights and highly recommend Big Brook Retreat.

A lovely quiet spot about 7 mins from Pemberton. There are four little cottages, each with its own living area where you can stargaze. The kitchen is small but sufficient, and there’s a large bath and shower. Just right for a long weekend away.
